Essential Functions:

Job Position: Manager, Performance Management and Succession

Purpose of the Job: To develop, implement and embed effective performance management and succession planning practices across the bank to enable it to fully utilize the potential of its people and meet future and changing business needs.

Generic Functions:

  • Develop, review and implement policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division
  • Embody the bank’s good culture, corporate image to the public
  • Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ascertain that subordinates abide by same and manage disciplinary concerns
  • Cultivate a working environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and transparency among staffs
  • Provide services as per the service level agreement, follow- up & monitor subordinates to do the same
  • Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary.

Specific Functions:

  • Develop, implement and monitor the Bank’s performance and succession management strategy and programs that are aligned with the HR strategy of the Bank
  • Configure the bank’s performance management processes to equip employees with the required critical competencies at the specified proficiency levels required for successful role execution
  • Develop and integrate competency frameworks within the Performance Management System
  • Interact with departments to ensure personal balanced scorecard are developed and signed by the immediate supervisors
  • Work with concerned organs to provide a rigorous and disciplined framework for assessing employee performance requirements, for rating actual performance against target/plan, for identifying key performance gaps; to bridge such gaps within acceptable timeframes
  • Handle other related activities as deemed necessary
Job Requirement:

Qualification: MA/MBA/BA in HRM/Public Administration/Business Administration/Management or any other related field.

Experience: Seven/Nine 7/9 years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry of which Two/2 years on senior officer position.

Purpose of the Job: To achieve sustainable growth and profitability of the Bank through cross selling the Banks products & services, acquiring & retaining customers, improving customer services and building strong customer relationships to maximize resources mobilization efforts, managing overall retail banking operations at the assigned branch.

Generic Functions:

  • Prepare /review work plans/budgets of the branch and monitor its execution

  • Plan and lead the enhancement of the resource mobilization activity of the branch by organizing and effectively coordinating the branch workforce
  • Check whether the Branchs books of accounts are in balance, review Income & Expense Summary Accounts of the Branch & apply strict follow-up on controllable expenses
  • Ensure that transactions are authorized immediately and end-of-business cycle processes are done on a timely basis.
Job Requirement:

Qualification: BA in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance & Economics, Marketing Management, or any other related fields.

Experience: Seven/7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager or 7 years of relevant banking experience of which at least 2 years as Senior Officer in banking operation position.
